There are a lots of decisions to be made when painting an image into existence; mainly deciding what you should miss out 😊 I decided to focus on the little white rowing boat which was my favourite focal point in that moment.

The pull of a dog lead and a beautiful sea view; people (and dog) observations on the rocks near Mannal on Tiree. I think I often paint as a form of time travel - not as good as the real thing but lovely to revisit a happy place in my memory 😋
