Come and join Kerry Phippen’s drawing class for weekly inspiration in a very friendly, relaxed and encouraging group of fellow ‘sketchers’. Kerry will demonstrate how to use different drawing materials each week to build students’ confidence and sharpen observation skills. Each session will be a ‘mini-project’ taking inspiration from landscape imagery or still-life; subject matters will include mountains, lakes, UK scenery, figures, animals and wildlife. We will be working with a range of materials including pencils, watersoluble media, pastels, inks, charcoal, line and wash and fineliners. Kerry’s teaching style is warm, fun and encouraging. Students are also welcome to work on their own projects if they wish, with Kerry’s encouragement and feedback.
